Streamliner Details:

Streamliner is an ultra-efficient tool for creating and viewing outlines on your PocketPC. Streamliner lets you create an outline without having to navigate countless complex dialog screens. Streamliner works much like the outline mode in Microsoft Word (and can even read and write Word RTF files), and lets you record your thoughts and ideas in outline form in a continuous "stream".

Structured ToDo Lists

But Streamliner is more than just an outliner. Streamliner lets you add checkboxes to any of the items in your outline. Checkboxes are "smart" so that the checkbox on a parent item is automatically checked once all of its children are checked off. Managing todo items in an outline where you can easily break tasks down into subtasks makes much more sense than "shopping-list" style todo lists.

Project Management

Streamliner also supports progress bars. Progress bars let you assign a "percent complete" to the item. And like checkboxes, progress bars on parent items automatically reflect the overall progress of all the children. This feature makes Streamliner perfect for lightweight project management.

Integrating Outlook Data

Streamliner also makes it easy to integrate Pocket Outlook data into your outlines in a very unique way. With Streamliner's SuperFind function, you can select any word or phrase in your outline and with only three taps locate and display any contact, appointment, or todo that contains those words. One more tap an you're right back to your outline.

Editing Microsoft Word Documents

Last, but certainly not least, Streamliner lets you edit Microsoft Word documents created on your PC (and saved in RTF format) without losing the document structure! Unlike Pocket Word, Streamliner understands headings and can instantly convert an RTF document with headings into a properly structured outline. What's more, Streamliner can save your outlines in RTF format with all the proper headings so that you can edit them as outlines or structured documents in Microsoft Word on your PC.
